Storing your makeup or accessories can be a real challenge at times. Makeup shouldn’t be kept in the bathroom, since it is usually the dampest room in the house, and moisture and makeup don’t mix. And when it comes to accessories, unless you can see what you have you’ll end up going with the same easy to find pieces.

That means you need to get creative with the way you store items. Think outside the box, or inside of it. Is there something you already own that could be tweaked to hold your makeup items in an attractive and easy to use way?

The boxes above store my eyeshadows, foundations, bronzers, etc… They were Christmas Card boxes that I modpodged over. Now they sit out on top of my dresser. They don’t look out of place and no one would know they are storage for my makeup.
